Bomb Threat at Mindanao State University-Iligan Drives Students Away from their Classrooms

Iligan, Lanao del Norte — A bomb threat at Mindanao State University (MSU), Iligan City, Lanao Del Norte sent the students away from their classroom buildings Monday afternoon.

There are no details yet regarding the incident at the vicinity of Iligan Institute of Technology. As of press time, no official statement has been released by the University officials as well. According to netizens living the area, this kind of bomb scare is not new to them. They speculated that it could have been triggered by another prank caller or tipster who wanted to cause a panic in the campus.

A photo of Roxanne Roble Arevalo showed hundreds of students who assembled at the school perimeter while they were awaiting for the bomb squad to clear the area.
