Karen Aguirre Killed and Buried in Noveleta, Cavite | Suspects Remain Unknown

Karen Aguirre, 16 years old, was killed and buried by unidentified suspect/s in Noveleta, Cavite. The teenager reportedly attended the wake of the most wanted person in the area named Augusto Lising Jr. last August 14, 2014. She failed to return home that day. Ten days after, her body was found in the village of San Antonio just a few meters away from Lising’s house.

Various local news agencies reported that Karen Aguirre’s parents received a text message from an unidentified sender telling them where to find the body of the victim last Sunday, August 24. They immediately rushed to Noveleta police precinct and told the authorities regarding the alleged location of their daughter’s corpse.

Several members of the Scene of the Crime Operatives (SOCO) joined the search in San Antonio. The location described by the unidentified tipster was accurate. The crime investigators successfully unearthed the body of Karen Aguirre. She was placed inside a sack. According to the initial investigation, the 16-year-old girl sustained multiple stab wounds on her neck. Additional lacerations were also seen all over her body.

In an interview, Rommel Aguirre, father of Karen, mentioned that he heard several rumors circulating in their town relating to a huge syndicate who could be the people behind the death of his daughter.

Meanwhile, the Noveleta Police Station are still investigating whether Aguirre’s death is connected to the death of her friend, Renald dela Cruz, whose body was found in Barangay Sta. Rosa. Renald’s corpse was completely mutilated with no upper teeth, right thumb, and a punctured eye. Detectives are also attempting to draw a conclusion whether the deaths of the teenagers are connected to the death of Augusto Lising Jr. last July 31, 2014.

As of press time, the suspects are still on the loose.
