Fans of John Prats mourned following the news that he was allegedly shot dead in Cebu. However, their griefs turned into anger upon learning that a blogger mispresented the news in social media.
John Prats, a Filipino actor, comedian, dancer, TV host, model and entrepreneur, was reportedly killed at Barangay Valladolid, Carcar City, in Cebu, Friday morning. He allegedly sustained a fatal gunshot wound on his head leading to his death. In a separate report, John Prats was found dead at the driver’s seat of a Fuso Fighter truck with license plate number GVF 114.
A certain amateur writer, however, mispresented the news in the social media causing the netizens to express their anger to the blogger. The outragious followers of John Prats also found out that the local celebrity wasn’t really the subject of the news.
