Things You Need To Know Before You Visit Tagaytay
Tagaytay, Bukas Na! - The popular city at the southern part of Metro Manila is finally open to tourists, according to City Administrator Gregorio Monreal. The famous destination is under Modified General Community Quarantine (MGCQ) resulting to lesser restrictions on health guidelines or minimum public health standards.
Here are some important protocols that you should be aware before you plan your trip and visit Tagaytay.
Travel pass is no longer required. However, each traveler will have to fill out health declaration forms which contain standard questions approved by the national health agency.
Tagaytay City Mayor Agnes Tolentino firmly reminded all establishments, offices, businesses, transportation, religious groups, churches, and barangays to strictly adhere to health standards and protocols to protect their workers and guests.
In line with this memorandum, hotels are allowed to operate only up to 50 percent of their capacity upon securing clearance or accreditation from the Department of Tourism. Traveler should make sure that they book hotel reservations to ensure that they can secure a place to spend their night.
Similar to other local government guidelines in the country, private vehicles travelling to and from Tagaytay will be allowed provided that physical distancing is observed inside the vehicle.
Lastly, Tagaytay City Oval and the Skateboard and BMX tracks shall be opened daily from 8:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. only.
As a general health protection, all visitors are recommended to bring personal sanitizers, alcohol, face mask, and even face shield.
