On May 18, members of the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit and the Bergenfield Police Department arrested Roland Densen, 38-year-old Bergenfield man, after learning that he allegedly engaged in inappropriate sexual activities with a juvenile male acquaintance.

The sexual abuse occurred over approximately a two-month period, the prosecutor said, and the victim had recently disclosed the abuse to his parents, who contacted authorities.

So I made a couple of researches and I found additional information and jailbase indeed identified that Roland Delsen is a Filipino. But I am still in doubt. If he is then this is another shameful issue next to the 30-year-old Filipino nurse — Jonathan Aquino — who was sentenced to jail after he was caught on a hidden camera attacking an 80-year-old Alzheimer's patient in the United Kingdom.

Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli announced the arrest of ROLAND L. DENSEN (DOB:: 2/18/1974) of 32 West Church Street, Apt. K, Bergenfield, New Jersey on charges of Sexual Assault, Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Diseased Person Committing an Act of Sexual Penetration. The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by members of the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office Special Victims Unit under the direction of Chief Steven CUCCINIELLO and the Bergenfield Police Department under the direction of Chief Michael MONAGHAN.

On May 18, 2012, members of the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office Special Victims Unit and Bergenfield Police Department arrested Roland DENSEN after learning that he engaged in inappropriate sexual activities with a juvenile male acquaintance. The sexual abuse occurred approximately a two (2) month period and the victim had recently disclosed the sexual abuse to his parents who contacted authorities. The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit was notified and an investigation ensued resulting in the arrest of Roland DENSEN.

Roland DENSEN was charged with the following: one (1) count of Sexual Assault – 2nd degree crime, one (1) count of Endangering the Welfare of a Child – 3rd degree crime and one (1) count of Diseased Person Committing and Act of Sexual Penetration – 3rd degree crime.

Bail was set by Judge Donald Venezia, J.S.C. for DENSEN at $75,000.00 dollars-no 10% option and no contact with the victim. Roland DENSEN was subsequently remanded to the Bergen County Jail in lieu of bail.

Prosecutor Molinelli states that these charges are merely accusations and that the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
