Nora Aunor Calls PNoy Resignation (What are her Legal Basis?)
The Superstar Nora Aunor is calling for the resignation of PNoy. She joined the human rights group Migrante on Tuesday asking President Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino III to step down from his office.
In lieu of the 20th death anniversary of the overseas worker Flor Contemplacion, hundreds of Noranians and dozens of activists gathered in Mendiola to participate the rally that was allegedly organized to highly demand President Aquino to abandon his post immediately.
"Tama na, sobra na! Noynoy, mag-resign ka na!" Nora Aunor said during her privilege speech.
The Superstar firmly stressed that the Aquino administration is setting the future of the Philippines to catastrophe. She also said that the President has no concrete programs on job security of Filipino workers. Moreover, Nora Aunor argued that PNoy doesn't have solid efforts to uplift the status of Overseas Filipino Workers.
“Nanatiling hungkad at ilusyon ang matuwid na daan at ang pagpapakitang tao ni Noynoy na ‘di na natin aasahan na magpapatupad pa ng matinong programa para sa OFW. Ang totoo po, si Noynoy ang pangunahing tagabenta, pahamak at pahirap ng ating kababayan,” said Nora Aunor.
Nora Aunor's campaign for the resignation of the Philippine President has caught the attention of several people from various socioeconomic groups. If you ask if they are convinced with the resignation campaign of the Superstar, then take a look at some of the prominent comments on the internet.
Meanwhile, a separate report linked the sudden aggressive move of Nora Aunor to the alleged decision of the President before "not to include her in the list of nominees for the National Artist for Film." This caused further speculations of the netizens that this controversial judgment of the executive leader fueled the resignation campaign led by Nora Aunor.
Others also questioned the credibility of the actress due to her previous case in United States relating to a drug arrest in 2005. The renowned Superstar in the 90s was not charged but in 2007 she underwent "a mandatory drug rehabilitation program".
