Kobe, Son of Benjie Paras, Retains FIBA 3x3 Slam Dunk Crown (2015)
Kobe Paras successfully defended his title and won gold medal in the 2015 FIBA 3x3 Slam Dunk competition. The famous son of the former PBA player Benjie Paras earned unquestionable respect from the judges in the said international competition.
Kobe Paras proved himself worthy for the 2015 FIBA Slam Dunk crown by garnering a perfect 10 score from all judges after he nailed a slick reverse flush after he grabbed the ball from his teammate’s hands.
The scores were very close during the elimination round and prior to the final dunk of Kobe Paras, the UCLA-commit even failed one of his attempts but the courageous basketball player who originally hailed from Philippines showed a remarkable dunk in the FIBA contest.
The audiences watching the competition were anxious that Jalek Felton who emerged as his toughest challenger from the US team will win the dunk contest. However, the emotions of the crowd evidently changed right after Kobe Paras made his final dunk.
