Manila, Philippines – An arrogant plane passenger allegedly slapped a female flight attendant who tried to assist the woman inside the Cebu Pacific jet. The cabin crew was hit on her face resulting to some bruises on her skin.

A few background information regarding the incident

A female flight attendant of Cebu Pacific Air allegedly refused to stow the luggage of a woman passenger whose husband is a high ranking official in the Armed Forces of the Philippines(AFP). The heated conversation between the two parties resulted to a not so pleasant encounter. From the post of a certain Madel Ty, the plane passenger allegedly attacked and slapped the cabin crew after the latter declined to provide the demand of the arrogant woman.

Madel Ty, who is the lead crew, shared the horrifying confrontation between the female flight attendant and the passenger. More importantly, Madel emphasized their plan to bring the case to the court.

The not so detailed information posted by Ty on Facebook has been shared over 3,000 times last night and it continues to receive public support. Most of the netizens shared their sympathy to the flight attendant who was attacked by the angry passenger. They also believe that it’s rightful to file formal charges against the passenger who was too abusive because of the authority of her husband.

“Im doing this for my fellow cabin crew. Sana maging lesson sa lahat and matutong ipaglaban ang nararapat. At para na din wala ng maulit pang ganitong case sa ibang crew. I’m sorry pero hanggang ngayon nattrauma pa din ata ako. I’m not really the one na kinagagalitan ng pax. But since im the lead cabin crew involved na din ako sa incident and kargo ko mga kasama ko.

I don’t want to elaborate what happened. Basta the bottom line, kaming mga cabin crew/flight steward our main priorities are your safety and not to carry or lift your bags. Ang kinasasama lang ng loob ko sa napakasimpleng bag na di ma stow ng maayos kailangan mo kaming sabihan na ‘your job is to assist passengers, kumbaga sa bus, mga konduktor kayo! Godda**it!’ And for the record, even konduktor hindi binubuhat bags ko to stow it. At walang masama sa trabaho namin at sa pagging konduktor. Nagttrabaho kami ng marangal. Pinalampas ko na mga sinabi mo. Nagapologize ako ng paulit ulit. Di na ko sumsagot at pumapatol. Hinahabaan ko na pasensya ko. Kasi iniintindi ko nalang yang galit mo. Ininsulto mo na nga yung trabaho namin na akala mo binili mo pati buong pagkatao namin. But this is too much. Di ako pinagaral ng magulang ko just for you to slapped me. In the end, hindi naman kami yung nagmumukang walang pinag-aralan at walang manners eh.

Furious netizens, who condemn the physical abuse inflicted to the employee, are currently working together to secure the identity of the suspect. They said that they will immediately expose the passenger’s identity once fully verified.

As of writing, the complaint of the flight attendant isn’t yet published by large local news agencies. It is not yet available whether the passenger who slapped the cabin crew will also file counter charges against the formal complaint submitted by the female crew of Cebu Pacific.
