Anne Curtis sets record : One of world's most-followed Twitter users

Filipino-Australian actress Anne Curtis Curtis, who is currently shooting Hollywood film “Blood Ransom” in the United States ranks 187th in its list of the most followed Twitter users in the world, surpassing Hollywood actors Ben Stiller (197th) and Leonardo DiCaprio (207th), music producer Simon Cowell (213th) and singer Adam Levine. Anne Curtis has 3 million followers. 

Curtis’ Twitter account, the most followed in the Philippines, has chronicled many of the actress’ triumphs, adventures and misadventures in showbiz – from the infamous MRT rides and the backstage boo-boo with rival network talents, her outright denial of her Hollywood project, to her product endorsements.

There are also her occasional “tweets” of sweet nothings to her boyfriend, Erwan Heussaff.

Meanwhile, Blood Ransom may not be a big production but surely it could be a big hit in the local scene. Anne curtis previously revealed the name of the character that she portray is Crystal.

Blood Ransom is scheduled to be screened in the United States in 2013.
