Sen. Francis "Chiz" Escudero, 42, finally confirmed the true status between him and the actress Heart Evangelista,27, on Friday morning.
When asked if Evangelista is his girlfriend, Escudero unreluctantly replied back with a positive statement, "I would like to think so, yes!".
Escudero made the announcement on his last day as guest co-host on "Kris TV", an ABS-CBN morning talk show hosted by Kris Aquino.
This year, the senator's seven-year marriage to Christine Elizabeth “Tintin” Flores has been annulled.
Evangelista and Escudero have been spotted together several times after the actress ended her relationship with Japanese-Brazilian model Daniel Matsunaga.
