Mystery, Deadly Flesh eating Disease Hits Pangasinan?
A rare and mysterious skin and flesh-eating disease allegedly spreading in the province of Pangasinan draws fear after a late night news program air a special report on the case. It said the illness consumes the skin and flesh of its victims.
In the episode of Bandila, a late night news program of ABS-CBN, on February 24, 2014, its field researchers visited the municipality of Sta. Barbara, Pangasinan to personally see the victims of the alleged mysterious disease. The news team met Claire, 21 years old, who has been hit by the unusual illness. The woman, who used to have a fine skin, could be hardly identified even by those people who previously know her. Hundreds of wounds literally wrap her from head to toe. The news team witnessed how she struggles to live each day as she tries to overcome the unending pain she feels in her body. None of her wounds healed.
Claire is just one of the many victims, who silently lives in the remote areas of Pangasinan.
According to Claire's mom, it all started as rashes but quickly turned into deep wounds. The mother of Claire said there was a point that ants were coming of the wounds. They sometime saw worms crawling out of the holes too. Claire was brought to several doctors in Pangasinan, Baguio, and even to some specialists in Manila but none of them was able to provide an effective medication to cure the disease.
Unfamiliar to the sickness, doctors attempted to prescribe several antibiotics. Claire's mom noted the doctors' diagnoses vary from one to another. Some of them said that it's a skin allergy, leprosy, among others. Later, the doctors could no longer explain the root cause of the mysterious illness. The practitioners admitted that the disease is incurable.

Meanwhile, the mysterious illness caused fear on the local residents and to netizens who saw the video. Many of them are starting to believe that the wrath of evil is creeping the place. Other people are linking the disease to the prophecy of the indian prophet, Sadhu Sundar Selvaraj, who previously warned the Filipinos regarding the plague.
During the visit of the Indian prophet to the country in April 2013, Sadhu Sundar Selvaraj declared a set of prophecies at Cuneta Astrodome. He said that a dreadful flesh eating disease will spread all over the Philippines, which will start from Pangasinan and next in Cebu. Aside from the said predictions, Selvaraj also allegedly prophesied the tsunami that hit Japan in 2011 and the recent super-typhoon Yolanda in Samar and Leyte.
Here's the video of Sadhu Sundar Selvaraj delivering the controversial prophecies.
