In addition, Mark also posted a photo of a girl riding a tricycle while holding her smartphone. The famous genius programmer mentioned the driver named Jaime who allegedly used Facebook to stay connected with his loved ones in Dubai.
The general availability of free internet access in various zones in the country will be fully implemented. In a certain public post of Zuckerberg, he mentioned that a large number of internet users is highly expected in the country[Philippines] because of the free internet connection. Services available thru this free internet access include health, education, and jobs.
Free internet services being offered in Philippines has a lot of advantages specially if your smartphone has any of the following SIM cards.
- SMART
- TNT
- Sun Cellular
Unfortunately, free internet won't be available for Globe users. Hence, if you visit internet.org, you will receive the following message.
You must be on the SMART or Sun Cellular network to use Internet.org. If you'd like to access these websites for free, use a SIM card from SMART or Sun Cellular.
How to avail Free Internet Access While You are in Philippines?
1. Send an SMS containing the message <INTERNET> to 9999.
2. Look for the Internet.org app at the Google Playstore, then download and install the app.
