Google Domains is the Official Registrar of Google Inc.
The largest search engine company in the world will soon announce the official launch of its own domain registrar in the coming days. Product beta testers including a small group of individuals from certain locations in the United States were silently invited to run the the initial test.
Google Domains offers a variety of services for a fix price of $12 per year on its first few top-level domains (TLDs). These features include FREE domain privacy, FREE email forwarding, FREE domain/subdomain forwarding services, zone file editor, and many more. Google Domains is also working with some of the top web builders namely Shopify, Weebly, Wix, and Squarespace.
Is this a big threat to GoDaddy, Namecheap, Enom, and other top domain registrars around the world?
The features of Google Domains are far more interesting compared to any other registrar in the market. One of its most anticipated FREE service is it allows domain registrants/owner to take advantage of its fast, efficient and reliable state of the art DNS infrastructure.
