Manny Pacquiao Turns down a Fight against Floyd Mayweather, ONCE AGAIN!
After the alleged “done deal” that was claimed by a certain boxing news source, all of us became thrilled and excited because we thought that the Fight of the Century, between Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao and Floyd “Money” Mayweather Jr., will finally take place. But I suppose many boxing fans will be frustrated once again when reading this news.
Manny Pacquiao once again rejected the fight against Mayweather for the “nth” time!
Mayweather usually avoids any talks regarding a possible fight with Manny. But this is really disappointing since Pacquiao was reportedly the one who turned down the said fight this time.

Philboxing.com noted the following statements, which were given by Pacquiao during an interview on DAZR:
“He really looks like he does not want to fight me, so, I think there’s nothing we can do about it already. Let’s forget about it for the meantime. For the last four years, negotiations for the fight have been on and off and nothing had come out. He’s been asking for so many conditions which we have expressed intentions to abide like drug tests, purse split and everything. Now he wants me to separate myself from my promoter (Bob Arum) which I cannot possibly do without violating my contract."
“First, I would like to make it clear that I am not chasing him. If ever, I want to face him in the ring for boxing fans, in particular, and sports fans, in general. That fight is what everybody wants. That’s history in the making and I want both of us to be part of history.” Pacquiao added.
However, the former pound for pound king and 8-Division world champion Manny Pacquiao remains optimistic that they will be able to draw Mayweather into a fight against him this year after his scheduled fight on April 12, 2014 at the MGM Grand Las Vegas, Nevada.

As of press time, Mayweather still insists that there will be no negotiations for a Pacquiao fight not until Manny decides to become a free agent and leave Bob Arum’s Top Rank.
