They say that there's no need to prove the obvious. But what if someone challenged you to show proof for something that is very obvious? In my humble opinion, the most difficult to prove in any legal procedure is providing series of evidence for something that is very obvious.
This is the most difficult task because at times you know that it happens but it's just that you can't really show relevant/enough evidence. Just like the widespread corruption in our government. We know that most of these politicians are pocketing our taxes however we can not justify that right away. If you go to your respective City government offices, by just looking at their faces you already have intuitions of who are those traditional corrupt politicians. But hey! Did you ever find yourself capable of proving that they do?
This is the case of Don Allado.
Another analogy could be like this. You have three eagles in a triangle and staring at their favorite prey. Waiting for the right moment to attack and suddenly after few hours you still see those eagles staring at the prey doing nothing. Will you not question yourself why did that situation happens? This is just like the referees in PBA. Their job is to find the most delicate call that they can do in every crucial game but for whatever reason, a very obvious violation was not called... Will you not ask yourself about it?
Remarkable milestones of DiversityHuman.com
Remarkable milestones of DiversityHuman.com
DiversityHuman.com was launched December 18, 2011 which was about two weeks earlier than our scheduled launch, January 4, 2012. I made that decision because I had a very important thing that I was mindful of-to help the donation campaign for CDO flood victims.
I never thought that DiversityHuman.com would be able to have a lot of success in our first two quarters of operation. But to my surprise, we had a lot of milestones within the last six months.
First, DiversityHuman.com ranked 8,000,000+ on our first month of operation. As we keep on blogging we got a better rank in February. And it keeps on getting better since then. Our current Alexa global rank is now 1,080,431. I don't know if Alexa rank matters or not but I think somehow it coincides with the web traffic that we were getting within the last three months.
Second, DiversityHuman.com was linked back by no other than-GMA news online. I thought our site isn't that visible in google and in other search engines but when I did a couple of searches with some popular keywords we even got the top spot of the search results in both yahoo and MSN. Our articles are also hitting the first page of google searches when I used the same keywords.
Media Blackout in dealing Scarborough Shoal Standoff
Media Blackout in dealing Scarborough Standoff
Finally, the thing that I waited for months is finally here-Media Blackout.
I heard some feedback before that being transparent is a psychological warfare but for me this strategy will be ineffective for China. Thus, we have to resort in keeping our military plans secret. Military approach are classified and should be executed first before being disclosed to the media.
President Benigno Aquino III gave instructions regarding the government’s plans and decisions involving the Philippines’ territorial dispute with China in the West Philippine Sea (South China Sea)-Don’t telegraph our punches. Budget Secretary Florencio Abad, a senior political adviser to the President, on Saturday described the actions that would be taken as “delicate.”
Another official, Ronald Llamas, Presidential Adviser on Political Affairs, on Saturday appealed to the public to just wait for what the government would do.
Malacañang officials are hopeful that the general public will cooperate and support the President’s decision “as he exercises leadership in scaling down the tensions arising from the incidents in Panatag Shoal.”
“The government will lay out its position in due time after it has thoroughly evaluated the available options,” Llamas said. “While that evaluation and discussion are taking place, though, the premature public revelation of all the issues will only create confusion and make the process of reaching a peaceful and favorable outcome more difficult,” he said.
For Rep. Rodolfo Biazon of Muntinlupa City and Rep. Roilo Golez of Parañaque City, there’s no problem with the President’s decision. “We can’t telegraph our strategic plans and intentions,” Biazon, a former military chief, said Saturday. “In effect, what we’re witnessing is that different members of the Cabinet are saying different things on the same issue. I welcome that instruction of the President.”
Golez, a former officer of Philippine Navy, said that’s how it should be, as “diplomacy is an opaque exercise.”
Golez had a reminder for everyone: Leaking vital information or state secrets is a criminal offense.
