Magnifico Actor Jiro Manio Seen at NAIA 3 Terminal Begging for Food and Clothing
Former multi-awarded “Magnifico” child actor Jiro Manio was found at Ninoy Aquino International Airport(NAIA) 3 roaming and begging for leftovers at the fast-food chain and other restaurants inside the airport. The homeless award-winning actor also received astonishing treatment from the employees of the facility.
Jiro Manio reportedly wandered for several days inside the international airport. Witnesses recounted their personal encounter with the actor and claimed that Jiro appeared to be mentally unstable. A bystander at NAIA 3 testified that the former "Magnifico" child actor was totally disoriented and could not provide a consistent statement.
Local news outlets immediately picked up the incident and published the story behind the viral news on social media. According to Inquirer.net, Jiro’s uncle said that the younger Manio “had gone missing on Saturday” from their own house in Cainta, Rizal.
The older Manio mentioned that Jiro left last week without telling where he was heading to. They were looking for him within the last four days and they couldn’t believe that Jiro would end up begging for food and living at NAIA terminal 3.
Jiro was initially seen by concerned netizens wearing a “hand-me-down shirt over shorts, with a towel slung over his shoulder”. The actor looked so dirty and hungry which prompted a security personel of NAIA 3 to give him food, clothes, and other supplies.
